During a session you are
guided through basic movements, simple every day actions - sitting,
standing, resting, walking - as well as other activities of special
interest to you.
These are our laboratory for
observation which in their simplicity on the one hand allow us to
encounter the complexity of habit - and how it obstructs our freedom - on the other hand. This gives us
our starting point, our basis, to implement the new. Recognize habit and
be free to change - the two corner stones of integration.
Your teachers skillful hands-on and verbal coaching free and realign
your neck, head and trunk. In this way the lesson sets an example for
you to continue with during your day - for instance the
experience of ceasing to effort, letting go of unneeded effort and
tension in the very specific way that it shows up for you, in your life,
your body and mind and your circumstances.
Special attention can be given to improving your use of yourself during
specific activities, such as playing a musical instrument or doing your
work, sport or performance art.
